A 40-year-old parrot should not become an unknown bird with an approximate age. An 8-year-old dog should not have to start over as a blank intake form because the person who knew them best can no longer care for them.
Critterfolio gives the next authorized caregiver a better starting point: the animal's identity, routines, medical context, preferences, relationships, belongings and history.
Surrender can be painful, necessary and deeply human. Critterfolio does not shame surrender or rehoming; it protects what the animal should not have to lose when care changes hands.
The goal is simple: when the animal moves, their story can move with them.
When every second matters
Help them “talk” when their person cannot.
In a fire, hurricane, hospitalization, evacuation or sudden handoff, the person who knows an animal best may not be available to explain what matters.
Printable QR tools can help an authorized caregiver or responder reach useful context quickly. A household or property emergency QR can help identify the applicable critters and important context before firefighters, law enforcement or another responder approaches an excited, frightened, deaf, blind or reactive animal.

Critterfolio will not block animal-care work with donation popups, countdowns, guilt messages or paywalls. Support should make Critterfolio possible — not make Critterfolio harder to use.
